This side project was completed during the COVID lockdown at my former home studio in Colorado. My piano had a felt pedal feature that produced a beautiful calm mellow tone. During the pandemic, it provided the perfect emotional release. Compositionally, I explored modal and tonal materials, which is something that I haven't done in a while, but felt very liberating. A subtle electronic layer was added to this texture.
